We are a bunch of creative artists with the insane passion to just create really cool sh!t....from working on clients IP's, to our own original work as well. Ideally our focus is to produce and create teen and adult focused work that has a deeper and more soulful story, rather that just a story that is for the momentary joy. We produce stories the South African way that connects with viewers on a different level.
Wonderr Studio is the first indie South African Anime studio and the only studio offering anime-quality 2D animation to international (UK/US) clients from an African cost base, backed by a rare local skillset that's nearly impossible to find or replicate elsewhere in the region — and every project we deliver builds toward original South African IP that competitors chasing pure client work have no reason to create.
the soul of the studio
Time Every frame delivered. Every deadline honoured. We treat deadlines as promises, because time is the one thing no studio can recreate once it's gone. Quality We don't meet expectations. We surpass them. Every project receives the care, detail, and craftsmanship needed to bring a vision to life beyond the brief. Honesty & Integrity Truth, even when it's difficult. If we're not the right fit for your project, we'll say so and help point you in the right direction. Integrity guides every decision we make. Clear Communication Clear words move stories forward. We keep collaborators informed, listen carefully, and ensure projects run smoothly through transparency and trust. Creativity Stories that linger long after the final frame. We create characters, worlds, and experiences that do more than look good—they leave a lasting impression.
the reason
Our mission is to establish Wonderr Studio as South Africa’s first anime-focused animation studio, leading the movement to create original South African anime series and films. Beyond our own projects, we want to open doors for other local artists, animators, and storytellers — empowering Mzansi’s creative community to thrive and contribute to reducing unemployment in the arts sector.
